Our 6th grade Science classes have been investigating Alstroemeria flowers to find evidence of the specialized structures that ensure reproductive success! A huge thank you to community partner, Bountiful Blossoms, for donating the beautiful flowers for our class lab! Students loved using handheld and clip-on microscopes to view the floral structures up close on their phones. We were also excited to use two digital-screen stand microscopes generously donated by former Science teacher, Ms. Teresa Fehrenz! Thank you so much for supporting our hands-on learning!
