8th grader R.J. Gagliardi made history this past weekend by taking part in the first ever wheelchair event at the JH level in the State Track and Field meet. He earned a first place medal in the 100m race and brought some groundbreaking hardware back to WJHS! We are so proud of R.J., who said he looks forward to competing in more wheelchair events that are already in place at the high school level. Congrats!
