Who: WJHS students
What:Monroe-Randolph Young Authors’ Conference

Special guest, children’s author and editor, Jasmine Krezanoski
When: (if you qualify) Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 8:30 am to noon (registration at 8:30).
Where: Sparta Lincoln School, 203 Dean Avenue, Sparta, IL 62286

If you like to write, turn in an original story to your language teacher on or before Thursday, January 22.

The story must:
● be a narrative that is at least 3 typed pages with a beginning, middle, and end.
● have an illustrated cover page attached with title and author’s name.
● have correct conventions (grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling)
● be entertaining to read.
